About the project

By the end of your first week, you’ll be shipping to production with our streamlined onboarding and modern tech stack. Within the first month or two, you’ll have released at least one large and impactful feature, from research to specification to delivery. We’ll help get you there each step of the way by ensuring you have all the guidance you need to introduce you to how Dweet delivers impactful changes to customers.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement brand new features and improve existing features. Our product is growing quickly with a huge roadmap of new interesting problems to solve.
  • Co-own the product and work self-directed. We're a small team of individual contributors. Everybody has autonomy and responsibility. You will work with others on new features, from ideation to release, through to maintenance. For example, you might build part of a system that allows clients to book consulting meetings with individuals from our community.
  • Form the backbone of our engineering department. You will contribute to technical and architectural decision-making, drive meaningful process improvement, and ensure the implementation plans are developed, deployed and followed.
  • Deploying, monitoring, and optimising your code via Kubernetes and DataDog.
  • Extending Github Actions CI/CD to automate new tasks and test coverage.

Our requirements

Technical stuff
It would be desirable to have experience across our stack, with at least 3 years of working in a professional environment:
  • React (Next.js)
  • Node.js (professional experience building apis, GraphQL or Rest)
  • Databases: Postgres (via Prisma), MongoDB, ElasticSearch & Redis
  • E2E testing (e.g. Cypress)
  • Nice to haves:
  • React, Recoil, modern styling library (e.g. Tailwind, ChakraUI, Stiches)
  • Sentry, Datadog, Segment and Amplitude
