About the project

Client: Systematic A/S, an international IT company.
The project is composed of multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases between the Polish and US governments. Multiple products of the SitaWare Suite are to be implemented for two Polish tank battalions. Use cases and requirements have already been aligned with the Polish Land Forces (PLF).

Job summary:
On this position, you will be working with our development teams to provide end-to-end technical solutions across several areas. It will be your responsibility to develop and refine technical solutions that meet or exceed all technical requirements while working closely with the customer and the software development teams. The role is very hands-on, and also includes integration and deployment work.

Your responsibilities

  • Have overall responsibility for Systematic’s part of the technical solution while supporting the customer’s team in designing the overall solution
  • Deliver and implement our command and control system
  • Advise our customer in designing and deploying our system
  • Participate in customer meetings to align strategies and determine the business and technical requirements that will be used in developing solutions or solution alternatives
  • Serve as a hands-on Solution Architect and leverage expertise in architecting, designing and building medium to large-scale systems
  • Participate in delivering both pre-sales and post-sales support to a variety of customers and stakeholders
  • Participate in writing the technical part of proposals and estimating the technical solutions.

Our requirements

  • You are experienced within software engineering, and you have broad IT technical expertise and a sound knowledge of solution design and implementation. To succeed in this role, you will need to draw on your strong technical leadership and communication skills, enabling you to motivate, guide and influence your stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
  • You know how to meet and successfully manage stakeholder expectations while working in an agile and dynamic environment with deadlines, budgets and resources. It is vital that you enjoy a customer-facing role, and you are strong at building organizational relationships and networking.
  • Technical education (must have) Master’s degree (will be an advantage)
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, C# and .NET (must have)
  • At least 4-5 years of work experience required, but that may be some within the military itself.
  • An engaging team player who is resilient, enjoys taking over responsibility and is well-organized (must have.)
  • Good attention to detail and quality-focused way of working (must have)
  • A commercial and business-oriented mindset combined with an understanding of the roles and responsibilities within a sales process (will be an advantage).
  • Experience in the Defence Domain (must have)
  • Veteran of the Polish Land Forces (will be an advantage)
  • Experience with Scrum or other agile frameworks (will be an advantage)

Security clearance

We’re working with a highly fragile piece of software and all employees working on the project must obtain security clearance from the authorities of the country in which they are employed. (Handled by the client organization). If the applicant is not a citizen in a Nordic or a NATO country, or have lived in such a country for the past 7 years, it must be noted that a security clearance may be impossible to obtain, as the authorities of the applicant's home country might be unable to conduct the necessary investigation of the person. In these cases work on the project will therefore not be possible.
