About the project

The Wholesale Banking Cybersecurity Change Delivery Lead is a senior role supporting the Wholesale Cyber Security Business Information Security Officer (BISO). Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementing cyber initiatives within the Business, ensuring Business requirements are captured and incorporated within the group Cyber global investment and transformation programme, and enabling governance and reporting on Cyber risk and control to Business stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Review and pilot new initiatives to gather and report Business impacts.
  • Apply critical thinking to assess Business value and Security posture uplift.
  • Undertake gap analysis and assessment of ‘when and ‘what’, to plan rollout of new cybersecurity initiatives within the WS Business, working collaboratively with the global cybersecurity functions, gathering and validating core requirements.
  • Identify roadblocks that could impact core Business projects within the GB. Work with the relevant technology teams to pilot and feedback for appropriate delivery shaping and prioritisation, communicating any operational challenges to implementation.
  • Understand Business strategies and requirements to ensure these are incorporated within the Cyber global investment/ transformation programme.
  • Support the coordination of GB teams to achieve adoption of global Cyber initiatives, mapping and tracking the Cybersecurity controls improvement(s) which will contribute to reducing WS Business risk.
  • Work in collaboration with the Business, Technology and Cyber teams to provide Business reporting.
  • Deliver to GB agreed reporting schedules (KRI’s, KPI’s) as required by the governance forums and/or regulators.
  • Ensure adherence to global standard methodology, SLAs, quality, templates and tools within the GB
  • Establish strong relationships across WS Tech and Business org, and the Cyber Security organisation.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance for team members.

Our requirements

  • Professional spoken and written communication, with ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken / written English)
  • Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
  • Previous experience of delivery ownership while providing excellent customer service
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development
  • Bachelor Degree and/or similar experience, preferably in IT security governance in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider

  • Desirable to have one or more industry-recognised cybersecurity-related certifications including ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC
