About the project
The Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) newly established Robotics & Autonomous Systems Software Group in Warsaw is working on new and innovative robotics and autonomous systems projects within Residential Robotics Technology Unit (RTU) as joint Partner with Autonomous Systems and Computer Vision Groups at Bosch Corporate Research in Germany and US.
In this international team, you have the opportunity to take responsibility in the end-to-end creation process – from the innovation idea to the product. You will join a growing team that works in an agile and self-empowered but structured way to deliver software modules & platforms, state-of-the-art robotics algorithms, simulation models, scenarios & systems (tightly integrated in CI/CD) as well as significantly contribute to system requirements and robot prototypes hardware and it’s iterations.
In this context, you will co-lead, supervise and execute all data engineering activities within Perception Team (Computer Vision) of Next Generation Residential Robot. Additionally depending on your main responsibilities tasks and bandwidth / priorities you will be training selected ML models.
The Warsaw site features space to innovate, leisure areas as well as state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for robotics development including industry-leading motion capture tracking system and customer environment simulation physical space (currently under construction).
Your responsibilities

- Data Loop - Sending Data From the Robot
- Define data for additional ML inference functionalities
- Source, Label, Quality Check and correct Data
- Keeping contact with label companies
- Coordination of labeling teams/students
- Training of ML models
Our requirements
- Basic understanding of ML/CV data requirements (diversity, amount, image types/formats)
- Understanding of labeling (preferably has done/coordinated labeling already, knows some labeling tools)
- Some statistics skills (what is a histogram, what is a true positive)
- Attention to detail, initiative, communication
- Strong Python
- Some experience with ML training (pytorch preferably)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar role
- University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields
- Cloud development skills
- Big data (storage solutions, filesystems, data versioning tools)
