Development Lead for Business Intelligence

Your responsibilities

• As an expert for Business Intelligence, you will implement BI applications for Bosch’s Corporate IT;
• Based on a data lake concept, you drive and shape the foundation for corporate IT as a data driven company;
• You evaluate customer requirements, estimate corresponding efforts, and translate them into technical concepts;
• In collaboration with IT architects, you are responsible for the architecture and design of our internal reporting and analytics applications;
• As part of an international cross-functional development team you implement key solution elements in the Oracle based backend data base;
• You ensure the technical basis and the data flow from extraction and load via the data model to the views for the presentation layer;
• With your experience, you will be the contact for the team to address and solve technical and conceptual challenges.

Our requirements

• Strong background in Data Analytics: data management, data architecture, data application design;
• Overview of data analytics technologies (e.g. OracleDB, SAP BW, Azure, MS Power BI, Tableau, Hadoop, Kafka...);
• Experience in designing and developing Business Intelligence applications, ideally with data lake and/or data vault approaches;
• Hands-on experience in data modelling, implementing data pipelines, reports, dashboards;
• Experience with agile, SCRUM or Kanban based development projects and corresponding tools;
• A degree in computer science, a scientific or business administration degree or similar with a strong technical background;
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and constantly looking for quality improvements;
• Fluent in English.
