Your responsibilities

  • Daily implementation and development of HA systems in cluster environments based on Linux. We use Kubernetes daily, including mail systems, www hosting, etc.,
  • Usage of HA and fail resilient storage systems, from which we chose CEPH and proudly use it in every aspect (VM storage, k8s persistent storage, object storage, etc.),
  • You will be working on on-prem hardware and remotely available (cloud) systems,
  • Communication with developers with great understanding of their needs and secure system limitations - You will be the guardian angel of their unrestricted imagination.

Our requirements

  • At least two years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in the scope as close as possible to the technology stack described below,
  • Undeniable skills in Linux, Debian/Ubuntu,
  • Google Kubernetes: deployment, administration, optimisation,
  • Git versioning,
  • Gitlab integration of CI/CD pipelines for image preparation and storage for k8s,
  • Ansible automation,
  • Elastic Search and Kibana integration,
  • Prometheus metrics and Grafana visualisation,
  • Log consolidation and analysis,
  • SQL (Maria and/or Postgre),
  • Web traffic admin: nginx, haproxy, varnish, k8s-ingress, awareness of HTTP protocols,
  • Basic understanding of Software Defined Storage, e.g. CEPH,
  • Communicative polish language or minimum B2 English level (applies to foreigners).
