Your responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and carry out all Endpoint related Mergers and Acquisition project tasks. Assist the Endpoint team in day-to-day tasks as time allows.
  • Travel to target locations and countries.
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings and planning sessions.
  • Assess client hardware and make recommendations for replacement, upgrade or reuse.
  • Assess client software to decide what needs to work post migration, how and where.
  • Create SCCM/Intune software packages, and test.
  • Install and test Citrix applications.
  • Attend site migrations as part of implementation team.
  • Work together with other departments and Merger and Acquisition project team members.
  • Provide support for OS and software deployments.
  • Collaborate within the EPM team, and other IT departments as needed.
  • Provide support documentation and create Knowledge articles.
  • Standardise and improve the M&A intake/migration processes and activities.

Specific Skills and Experience:
Some understanding of:
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
- OS build and deployment best practices.
- Citrix or other application virtualisation technologies
- Microsoft Licensing
- Networking and Firewalls
Good Knowledge of:
- MS Services, AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, File permissions etc.
- Windows client Operating systems and services
- Windows Server Operating systems
- Application packaging and support knowledge. I.e., interaction with authentication services, firewalls, file systems, logs etc. and the tools needed to investigate these.
- Experience with mobile operating systems, Android and IOS.
- Good customer services skills
- Work well with multi-discipline teams.
- Working within a Project environment.
- Any Project planning skills useful.
