About the project
Consult Red is looking for an aspiring or experienced leader, who would like to start or continue their journey in the people management direction.
It’s a perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer or a Tech Lead, who still wants to be mainly involved in technical tasks, as 70% of the time in this role will be dedicated to working on customer-facing projects in a technical leadership/engineering role. Around 30% of the time in this role will be spent on coordinating and supporting a group of engineers on a daily basis, so you will definitely be able to develop your interest in leadership and deepen it if you feel this is the path for you.
Most of our projects are rooted in the embedded realm, either digital TV/media or IoT. Our engineers mainly use C++ or C, so you will definitely need up-to-date experience in this area to be able to support your team and contribute to our project work efficiently.
Your responsibilities
- Leading a team to success through your technical leadership and mentoring skills
- Make your own technical contributions to a project - for example software design, technical problem solving, code review, software development work
- Communication to all stakeholders, including engineers, technical leads, third-party PMs and leads
- Support the career development of the individuals within your team
Our requirements
- Embedded software development background and solid experience with software development in languages such as C, C++ or similar object-oriented languages
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand complex issues and discuss them via video call, email and other ways
- Very good English and communication skills
- Any experience in leading, coaching, and developing a team of software engineers is strongly desirable but it’s not a must-have

- A salary of 23,500 - 28,000 PLN gross/month
