Your responsibilities

  • Engaging closely with architects, software engineers and business, in order to deliver highly available and scalable services
  • Maintaining and developing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for containerized (micro-services) solution to achieve reliable and stable releases
  • Maintaining and configuring tools within projects’ tech stack (Bitbucket, TeamCity, Octopus and other)
  • Troubleshooting issues for various Microsoft Azure and Google cloud-based systems and improving tool chain as well as associated processes towards more automation and shorter turnaround times (Ansible, Chef)
  • Participating in reviews of new and changed components
  • Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business
  • Apply and advocate best practices in: automation, testing, deployment and security
  • Self-starter, problem solving skills, positive attitude, willingness to learn, passion to automate SW engineering tasks

Our requirements

  • We are looking for strong DevOps engineer from Operations engineering background with experience working on Operations/Support project
  • Candidate should have minimum of 4+ years of experience in IT industry
  • Master’s degree (preferred in IT, Computer Science)
  • Experience with Kubernetes (must to have)
  • Experience with software configuration management
  • Understanding ideas of CI/CD and experience with CI/CD toolset including, TeamCity, Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure,
  • Scripting/programming skills will be a plus (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Familiarity with Linux-based systems and technologies as well as system administration
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (Azure environment, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with Ansible will be a plus
  • Understanding of .NET, TypeScript or Java code will be a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and spoken English
