About the project
The focus of the position is on Information Security Architecture as well as Information Security Awareness. As a member of the Information Security Office you will support in setting up, operating, and optimizing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001. We have new projects ahead and our main goals are to determining the direction for the security department, auditing current solutions and preparing improvements where needed. However, it is up to you which responsibilities you will engage in and in which projects you will decide to develop.
Within the B. Braun Group, the “Chief Information Security Officer” is looking for a new member in the “IT & Cyber Security” team in the IT Shared Service Center in Poland (Poznań or Nowy Tomyśl). At the moment, the team consists of 15 people from Poland, Germany, USA, Columbia and Malaysia, most of whom are mids and seniors. Ultimately, we want to expand the team to 30 people
Your responsibilities
- Define and monitor the overall information security architecture and ensure business alignment and alignment with the IT strategy,
- Contribute to the information security strategy and maintain the IT security technology roadmap,
- Coordinate implementation of security controls and monitor their efficiency,
- Support emergency, continuity, and disaster recovery planning,
- Investigate and follow up on information security incidents and coordinate security incident response,
- Contribute to the information security awareness and training program,
- Create and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures,
- Represent information security in IT projects and manage information security projects,
- Manage/support risk assessments and security audits.
Our requirements
- Job experience: 3-4 years in Information Security and/or IT Security
- Proven experience and extensive knowledge in information security strategy definition, ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001, and security technologies
- Experience in the areas of security incident investigation and response
- Experience in the creation of security documents (policies, etc.), project work, and ideally project management
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2)
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge in the fields of network security, cloud security, endpoint security, MS 365, authentication methods and solutions (e.g., MFA, PKI/certificates, SSO)
