About the project

Client: Systematic A/S, an international IT company.
The project is composed of multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases between the Polish and US governments. Multiple products of the SitaWare Suite are to be implemented for two Polish tank battalions. Use cases and requirements have already been aligned with the Polish Land Forces (PLF).

Job summary:
As an Integration Specialist, you will be a key player in delivering our SitaWare and Iris suite for defence customers in Poland and other countries in Europe.
The solution is all-encompassing; radio, mobile, vehicle, web and application-based. With reporting across the spectrum of devices back to command HQ in real time.
The Integration Specialist will be working closely with the customers – to roll out a mission-critical system that creates value by simplifying decision-making within areas such as solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, technical training, interoperability, development and testing.

Your responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing and supporting technical solutions
  • Ensuring that your projects are delivered within the agreed scope and timeframe
  • Conducting technical training for our customers – both in classroom environments and in workshop-like set-ups
  • Supporting the training of administrators and end-users
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, consultants and colleagues at Systematic
  • Keeping up to date on the status of Systematic products and support to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximizing value for both our customers and our products
  • First and second-level customer support

Our requirements

  • Enjoyment from participation in customer-facing activities such as presentations, technical support and training. Ability to instill trust in our customers in order to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and grow the business.
  • Technical qualifications (“must have”/“will be an advantage”)
  • Technical education (must have) Master’s degree (will be an advantage)
  • Basic knowledge about IP networks, TCP and UDP (must have)
  • Experience as a developer (will be an advantage)
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, Angular, OSGi (will be an advantage)
  • At least 4-5 years of work experience required, but that may be some within the military itself.
  • Good self-management skills in order to work on several different tasks at once (must have)
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and tools as our products evolve (must have)
  • Good attention to detail and quality-focused way of working (must have)
  • Experience in the Defence Domain (must have)
  • Veteran of the Polish Land Forces (will be an advantage)
  • Experience with Scrum or other agile frameworks (will be an advantage)

Security clearance

We’re working with a highly fragile piece of software and all employees working on the project must obtain security clearance from the authorities of the country in which they are employed. (Handled by the client organization). If the applicant is not a citizen in a Nordic or a NATO country, or have lived in such a country for the past 7 years, it must be noted that a security clearance may be impossible to obtain, as the authorities of the applicant's home country might be unable to conduct the necessary investigation of the person. In these cases work on the project will therefore not be possible.
