Your responsibilities
- As an IT Security Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for requirements analysis, specification, design and implementation for security automation at Bosch Cyber Defense Center.
- You will automate security testing for:
- Servers and client devices
- IT Infrastructure
- Connected devices
- Manufacturing systems.
- Be part of the team providing automated security tests for over 400’000 systems on a monthly basis.
- Analyze vulnerability and configuration data to create new tests and reports.
- Build security solutions used by security managers and operators, penetration testers and system owners.
Our requirements
- Commercial experience in Python programming
- Requests, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, NumPy, PostgreSQL / MS SQL, LDAP, etc.)
- API for data operations.
- Experience with SQL Programmability (PostgreSQL / MS SQL).
- Successful completion of studies with a focus on information technology or a related field – exchangeable with additional 3+ years of experience in python programming.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with Ruby, shell, PowerShell.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning platforms (Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys, Veracode, Invicti).
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity
- Encryption algorithms / PKI
- OWASP methodologies
- Vulnerability management
- Network security (firewalling, security protocols)
- Linux basics
- Understanding of major security metrics and KPIs.
- Experience in performance monitoring of applications, services, systems, and infrastructure. Creating new alerts to find anomalies and understanding the root cause of failures.
- Creating and deploying automation, alerting, self-healing architectures and other technologies in order to make the environment more maintainable.
- Monitoring, managing and troubleshooting regular processes to improve processes and workflow.
