Your responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team, building an organization that can support and sustain customer needs.
  • Working closely with engineering and business teams to incorporate customer feedback and address key support and usability concerns for customers.
  • Maintaining very high customer satisfaction and a consistently great work experience for the engineering team, regardless of location.
  • Effectively defining/analyzing metrics to drive team behavior in pursuit of goals.
  • Assessing and managing support risks (migration infrastructures to cloud, build cloud infrastructures).
  • Support process analysis and automation.
  • Planning and managing team resources within the support project.
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify processes with a view to removing complexity from the company.

Our requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading IT support or operations teams.
  • A solid understanding of networking and operation system/cloud technology and proven methods on providing innovative solutions to customers.
  • An ability to think creatively and apply strong analytical and problem solving skills, driving issues to resolution.
  • Experience dealing well with customers during problem resolution and operating under pressure.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies - nice to have.
  • Experience in planning long and short tasks of support projects in ticket systems (Jira, Redmine, Zendesk).
  • AWS (Amazon Web Service) support experience - would be an advantage.
  • Commitment to achieving delivery targets.
  • Initiative and follow-through ability.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Open and trustworthy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows).
  • Attention to detail with strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff.
