About the project

This position is responsible for leading and oversight of the Process Automation team as part of the wider CC (Central Capabilities team) globally supporting (GE) Global Enablement and the broader McCormick Enterprise as capacity allows. Drive the identification, assessment, and implementation of process automation throughout the enterprise. Define and drive the growth strategy, develop thought leadership, and advise on automation best practices. The geographic scope of this position is global. This leader will report to the Director, Central Capabilities.

Your responsibilities

  • Manages, leads, and develops talent to ensure high-performing talent, succession depth and diverse and inclusive teams.
  • Embeds culture within Process Automation team ensuring value creation, collaboration and integration with McCormick’s Power of People philosophy, principles, and shared values.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the automation team. Defines, drives and implement measures to improve operational excellence and efficiency within the team and associated processes.
  • Defines, develops, and implements strategic plans in relation to the path forward for automation in conjunction with other business units already engaged in automation.
  • Partners with global process owners, global delivery leads, business stakeholders, and enabling functions to drive continuous improvement through automation.
  • Partners with CC Process Business partners and GDL’s to identify programs that ensure end to end process simplifications through automation & process mining capabilities.
  • Manages partnerships with external technology platform providers and the broader user community.
  • Defines and deploys Enterprise Automation Roadmap.
  • Provides oversight and direction for the Citizen Developer program.
  • Sets global standards for Process Automation ensuring consistent, agile utilization.
  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators for RPA (or other automation opportunities) success, to regularly publish performance reports for executive, business leadership, and customer audiences.
  • Defines, implements and executes against the processes for identifying and executing process transformation and automation (and any other automation opportunity).
  • Advocates and champions process discipline - engages with and utilizes the process capabilities tools with business partners.
  • In collaboration with the broader Central Capabilities team, establish framework to identify and address opportunities for improvement.
  • Provides a global, enterprise and customer centric mindset.
  • Manages global business networking, connectivity, and relationships.

Our requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience within management growing a regional client-service or customer-oriented function involving experience in transformational initiatives and processes across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Prior experience with programming and/or scripting preferred. UiPath technical knowledge, especially related to Orchestrator would be a benefit and is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and expertise in SAP technical processes.
  • Proven people management experience in managing a team and/or strong coaching experience. In addition, experience within a matrix organization would be an asset.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to identify and proactively address impacts and disruptions. Ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Experience working in global, multicultural environments which require cultural awareness.
  • Ability to adapt and work with different countries and complex processes across a wide range of subjects.

This position is responsible for prioritizing, developing, and delivering end-to-end global organizational management (OM) initiatives, including the establishment of ways of working (WoW) within a complex cross functional environment. This role will lead the implementation and change management for OM related global data standards and process improvements. The HR Data Project Lead will provide support and provide guidance on related technology, data governance, cleansing and global consistency. As a part of the HR Systems Operations Team, supports major structure change initiatives and serves as a subject matter expert of SFEC and SAP HCM OM data management. Provides support to the business on overall organizational design & implementation.
