About the project

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and ambitious Product Owner to join our team of over 150 people within the AppUnite family. Our mission is to empower our clients by creating innovative software solutions that help them achieve their business goals.

Your responsibilities

  • As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining and prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. We are looking for a person who can go deeper into understanding “why, what, and what for” for the sake of building optimized solutions.

Our requirements

  • Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development.
  • Be a team player with empathy and drive to improve.
  • Be good at knowledge sharing with the ability to mentor others.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban (Note: We don’t blindly stick to a specific framework! Our goal is to build successful products using whatever framework best suits the purpose).
  • Knowing i.e. how to build a roadmap, building a product vision, and turning it into goals, epics, etc.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana.
  • Fluent English and Polish skills (written, spoken).
  • Figures out why and how we do something and is able to communicate that vision for the whole team to understand and feel it.
  • Demonstrably picks up new tools (i.e. an email campaign builder or a test case management tool) and fearlessly learns how to become enough of a power user to achieve evolving business requirements.
  • Have examples of times used analytical skills to solve a problem, create a process, or organize the delivery of a complex project.
  • Break down intricate or technical scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts that non-technical folks can grasp.
  • Have high integrity, the capacity to learn quickly, and high intrinsic motivation.

    Optional

  • Experience with mobile app development.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Background knowledge in software development that stems from directly being part of the software development lifecycle (e.g. junior engineer, QA automation).
