About the project
Workplace: 100% Remote
Start: According to Candidate’s availability (max. 3 months notice period)
Form of cooperation: B2B with ITFS (longterm)
Wage: 130 - 150 PLN/h net + VAT
Working hours: standard Polish
Recruitment proces: call with ITFS –> 1-2 interviews with Client/End Client -> decision
Client: Polish company from the technology industry, Foreign End Client
Project length: 9 months (possible extension)
Your responsibilities
- Develop reusable, testable, scalable, and efficient code using Rust.
- Create code requiring low level control.
- Contribute to open-source projects @ GitHub.
- Asynchronous, concurrent, and network programming (TCP, UDP, HTTP).
- Develop for all three leading platforms: Linux, macOS, and Windows.
- Design REST API (low-level API).
- Get feedback from the Applications team and SDK team on the above.
- Contribute to the company Tech Council committee.
- Test what you write with unit, integration, and manual tests.
- Attend daily and weekly stand-ups, sprint plannings, retrospectives, 1:1s.
Our requirements
- Rust (You already use and love Rust, including async (but if you have the experience in system programming you do not need to be a Rust developer. Any strongly, statically typed language experience [C++, Java, C#] would be enough to start).
- Version control, Reviews, Issue tracking: GitHub,
- Qemu - configuring interaction with external host applications and development.
- API design (REST).
- Experience with implementation of TCP protocol (we maintain own fork of smolTCP library).
- Being familiar with Python and Node.js.
