Your responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the investment accounting processes supported by the Allvue software solutions
  • Attend business requirements gathering sessions to gather high level requirements, document the scope of work and contribute to the estimation process
  • Gather requirements and produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) or Design Documents for client approval and subsequent implementation by the Allvue team
  • Develop Business Requirements around appropriate accounting journal entries for various fixed income asset classes for implementations, capturing the clients’ scope and objectives as well as developing thorough use cases.
  • Liaise with internal developers, engineers & QA teams to ensure the product implemented aligns with the clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Prescribe solutions to clients based on best practices and recommend process changes as needed
  • Create Excel models and proofs for accruals, P&L and other accounting requirements
  • Conduct end-user training with a goal of ensuring widespread adoption of the Allvue software
  • Effectively communicate any product defects or enhancements to product team members for inclusion in our standard configuration offering

Our requirements

  • Experience with these asset classes: syndicated loans, direct lending, corporate bonds, MBS / ABS, CDS, IR Swaps, foreign exchange contracts
  • Understanding of operational characteristics of fixed income investments including: Interest accruals, P&L calculations, Effective Interest Amortization, etc
  • Solid accounting foundation using debit / credit dual entry method
  • Experience working with a Private Equity Fund or Fund Administrator in a role with an understanding of accounting, analytics, reporting requirements and investor allocations is a plus
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Prior experience working with engineering or development teams a plus
  • Enthusiasm for technology and finance
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and be adept at listening and soliciting feedback
  • Detail-oriented & strong work ethic
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can successfully manage multiple competing priorities
  • University degree in related discipline
