About the project

We are searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer to handle operations of distributed microservice environments delivering services to millions of users. You'll also get the chance to design and implement the entire operation stack for large-scale applications running on multiple continents and be involved in a transition plan to the Kubernetes platform.
We specialise in creating interactive projects with a Continuous Integration and Development process. Our work methodology is based on Agile Scrum. In developing our product, we implement modern technologies, including, but not limited to:
  • Microservices based on Docker containers;
  • Kubernetes / Rancher;
  • Node.JS / Meteor;
  • ReactJS and Blaze;
  • Reactive App Development;
  • Cordova-Based Mobile Applications.

    • Your responsibilities

    • Improving monitoring of our existing platforms;
    • Building new platforms;
    • Automating platforms;
    • Performance tuning;
    • Security;
    • Supporting our development team.

    Our requirements

    • Mid-level experience as System Administrator or DevOps Engineer;
    • Hands-on knowledge of effective Cloud Administration;
    • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration;
    • Solid understanding of microservice architecture;
    • Solid understanding of network protocols based on TCP and HTTP;
    • Programming skills for scripting and task automation - Python or Bash;
    • Languages - English is the official language of communication at Linguahouse, however, most of your team;
    • Effective communication - we value an open and comfortable working atmosphere. To be a part of the team, you'll need to be able to both voice your opinions and compromise;
    • Strong internal motivation and a team-oriented spirit.

      Optional

    • Experience with Kubernetes would be a plus, but not essential.
