AI Engineer

Our requirements

• Proven software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
• Backend: Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java/Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Frontend: Hands-on experience with React/TypeScript (or similar modern frameworks), component-based design, and state management.
• AI/ML: Practical experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and model evaluation techniques.
• Data: Expertise in SQL and experience with document stores/search engines (e.g., Elasticsearch/OpenSearch) and/or vector databases.
• Cloud & Containers: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry).
• Security: Familiarity with secure coding practices, OWASP principles, and authentication/authorization frameworks.

Optional

• Experience with agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks, and multi-tool integration.
• Understanding of model governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or reusable AI components.
• Background in highly regulated industries, such as financial services.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack AI applications, including modern web interfaces (React/TypeScript), backend services, and AI/ML components.
• Develop and operate LLM-enabled services, implementing prompting, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), tool/function calling, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails.
• Build APIs and microservices to seamlessly integrate AI models with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, indexing (e.g., vector databases), and retrieval.
• Create intuitive front-end experiences for AI-driven features like chatbots, copilots, workflow assistants, and dashboards.
• Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, monitoring, and quality checks for drift and performance.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit/integration tests, offline evaluations, red-teaming, and performance benchmarking.
• Optimize systems for latency, cost-efficiency, and reliability using caching, batching, asynchronous processing, and observability tools.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance-by-design, including access controls, data governance, and audit trails.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and risk specialists—to deliver measurable business value.
