  • Act as technical lead for business users, support, developers, QA, vendors and technology leaders.
  • Convert business needs into technical options, plans, estimates, dependencies and actions.
  • Manage backlog, enhancements, defects, technical debt and release readiness.
  • Keep delivery structured and transparent, with clear owners, status, risks, decisions and follow-up.
  • Hands-On Technical Leadership
  • Provide hands-on expertise in application logic, configuration, data flows, Azure hosting, infrastructure, MoveIT, connectors, adaptors, batches, environments and support.
  • Challenge technical analysis, estimates, designs, testing, implementation plans and fixes.
  • Diagnose complex application and data issues, identify root causes and drive resolution.
  • Work with developers and support to validate solutions, impact, test evidence and production readiness.
  • Build technical depth to reduce legacy knowledge dependency and improve resilience.

  • Support a platform serving US business teams, clients and operations.
  • Work late, unsocial or shifted hours when needed for US coverage, releases, incidents and deadlines.
  • Lead timely resolution of incidents, recurring defects, data issues, user problems and outages.
  • Maintain usable support processes, escalation routes, documentation and runbooks.
  • Reduce single-person dependency through clear support ownership and issue history.
  • Application Development, Enhancements and Release Delivery
  • Lead enhancements, fixes and releases from requirements through development, testing, deployment and validation.
  • Align with business stakeholders on priorities, issues, operational impact and outcomes.
  • Coordinate developers, walkthroughs, testing, defect triage, release notes, migrations and rollback plans.
  • Require impact assessments, test evidence, user validation and production readiness checks.
  • Escalate risks, resource constraints, missed commitments and critical defects early, with options.
  • Codebase Knowledge Transfer and Legacy Context
  • Formalise existing knowledge into delivery discipline, documentation, support ownership and governance.
  • Document architecture, behaviour, data dependencies, Azure, MoveIT, connectors, adaptors, recurring issues, support and releases.
  • Replace informal knowledge with repeatable documentation, handovers and operating procedures.
  • Identify technical debt, fragile processes, workarounds and risks to scalability, stability and change.
  • Move from incumbent-led knowledge to a resilient, transparent delivery model.
  • Stakeholder Management and Delivery Governance
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, blockers, incidents, release readiness and business impact clearly.
  • Align priorities and expectations with US business stakeholders.
  • Track actions, decisions, defects, dependencies and open issues rigorously.
  • Escalate early with practical recommendations, not just updates.
  • Represent the platform credibly in technology, business and management forums.
  • Uphold ethics, transparency, accountability and traceability in decisions, incidents and communications.
  • Engage infrastructure early on dependencies, risks, changes, access, readiness and operational impact.
  • Thoroughly document decisions, assumptions, risks, analysis, support steps and handovers.
