Our requirements
- Solid experience in backend development within a microservices architecture
- Proficiency in one of the following: Golang, Java, or Kotlin
- Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with relational databases and event-driven systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with software design and testing approaches such as TDD or BDD
- Experience deploying and operating applications in production environments

Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate backend services supporting global payment integrations
- Build and maintain scalable microservices in a distributed, event-driven architecture

- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Work with modern technologies including AWS, Go/Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and observability tools

As a Mid-Level Backend Engineer, you will focus on developing and maintaining backend services responsible for integrating multiple payment methods. Your work will directly impact how millions of customers complete their transactions across global markets.
You will collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and mobile developers to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performing payment solutions. While this role sits within a specific Alliance, there may also be opportunities to contribute across different teams within HelloTech.
