Batch Management Technical Lead (f/m/x)

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in batch job management and IBM Mainframe administration
• Deep knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS on the mainframe, with proven troubleshooting skills
• Extensive experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) and resolving batch errors
• Effective communication skills with management and stakeholders, demonstrating ownership of critical batch processes
• Strong coordination skills within batch and application teams, ensuring smooth operations
• Advanced level of English, living in Poland

Optional

• Basic knowledge of Horizont IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD, and XINFO
• Familiarity with IBM Dynamic Workload Console (IBM-DWC)

Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS), ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot JCL jobs on IBM z/OS to support batch processing
• Monitor batch processes, swiftly resolving failures and production issues to maintain operational integrity
• Take ownership of critical batch processes, including End of Day, End of Month, and End of Year operations
• Lead and coordinate Incident, Change, and Problem Management efforts, ensuring compliance with SLAs
• Identify and proactively mitigate batch-related risks to enhance service stability
• Implement infrastructure and scheduling changes to improve batch management efficiency
• Drive automation of build, testing, deployment, and operational processes to streamline workflows
• Communicate effectively with management and key stakeholders regarding batch operations and improvements
• Create and manage team shift plans to ensure adequate coverage and coordination among batch and application teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for batch scheduling and operational processes
