● Willing to travel to Czechowice 1-2 days a week.
● Languages: Fluency in English (daily communication with central/global teams).
Your responsibilities
Project Management & Digital Transformation:
● Drive Industrial IS Evolutions: Lead the deployment, scaling, and integration of modern Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), IIoT solutions, and Cloud-based industrial applications.
● Legacy Migration & Standardization: Oversee the phase-out/discontinuation of legacy shop-floor tools (e.g., Barflow MES) and lead the migration of functions to modern enterprise platforms (e.g., Jarvis).
● Governance & Standards: Act as the IS quality leader to ensure the Information Systems Project Methodology (ISPM) is strictly applied across all industrial projects.
● Group & Site Alignment: Analyze and size the complexity of local site requests while aligning deliverables with global Group digitalization strategies.
OT/IT Convergence & Technical Leadership:
● Shop-Floor to Cloud Integration: Define technical and data architecture requirements connecting edge devices, PLCs, and SCADA systems with MES and Cloud IS platforms.
● Catena-X Implementation: Act as a technical leader for defining data requirements and executing Catena-X use cases across production sites.
● Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage external contractors throughout the software development lifecycle: budget, release planning, functional specification writing/validation, and technical delivery.
● System Quality Assurance: Validate new software versions, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for key architecture updates, and support local Key Users during deployments.
Operations, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement:
● Level 3 IS Support: Analyze escalated functional/technical incidents, conduct root-cause analyses for critical outages, and decide on code fixes versus systemic evolutions.
● Community & Network Animation: Build and lead a strong network of local Key Users and Champions; facilitate training, release presentations, and knowledge sharing.
● Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation for industrial IT/OT architectures, operational recovery plans (DRP), and data refresh protocols.
