About the project

The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems. Currently, we are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our clients in the banking industry. Join us and work while learning and developing yourself on projects that impact our communities and society.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing risk models for broad classes of financial and operational Client risk
  • Setting standards and providing mission-critical, cutting-edge tools to help identify, measure, and manage risk, as well as enhance enterprise-wide compliance across Client
  • Being responsible for working with the Traded Risk Financial Engineering team
  • Robust developing and maintaining of a quantitative library, which includes risk models and methodologies that are under remit of the GRA Traded and Operational (TnO) Risk Analytics team
  • Developing a quantitative pricing library in C++ and a low-latency pricing library written in C++ and gRPC
  • Closely collaborating with GRA Quantitative Modellers, IT teams, and Front Office to create synergies across different functions and departments
  • Working with Counterparty Credit Risk modelling team and developers from Financial Engineering
  • Automating regression testing

Our requirements

  • Experience in enterprise development in C++
  • Understanding software architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Familiarity with agile practices and application development lifecycle
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Ability and flexibility to work in an international team
  • Residing in Poland required
