Our requirements

  • Previous experience in an Agile software delivery context (Change/Control Analyst, Business Analyst, Test Analyst or similar).
  • Familiarity with change and deployment processes and associated tooling (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance concepts within software delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills – ability to influence and resolve queries effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excel), as well as process documentation (Visio or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Optional

  • Knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD frameworks, and experience tracking DevOps performance metrics.
  • Exposure to security testing practices (SAST/DAST/MAST) and vulnerability management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, advanced Excel (Power Query) and reporting tools (Google Data Studio).
  • Relevant certifications: IIBA, ITIL, Agile/SAFe or similar.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute SDLC/DEPL control checks, monitor performance metrics, and track non-compliance remediation through structured workflows.
  • Gather and interpret data from multiple sources to identify control gaps, trends and improvement opportunities that support simplified compliance.
  • Define what “good looks like” for control adherence; coach engineering teams and provide onboarding support for new processes and requirements.
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation, approvals and change artefacts; produce accurate compliance reports and dashboards.
  • Track CI/CD delivery performance measures, detect anomalies and recommend actionable improvements for software delivery teams.
  • Prepare and deliver guidance, documentation, and training sessions to improve adoption of SDLC and DEPL processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, control owners, and governance partners; facilitate workshops and governance meetings to align expectations and resolve issues.
  • Simplify control workflows and documentation to make compliance easier for delivery teams while maintaining process integrity.

About the project

We are seeking a Control Data Analyst to strengthen software delivery governance and support Cybersecurity engineering teams in meeting SDLC and Deployment control requirements.
This role ensures that cyber change delivery across the organisation adheres to defined controls and integrates DevOps performance metrics, compliance tracking and remediation. You will be a key enabler for quality assurance, compliance monitoring and data-driven process improvement within the first line of defence.
