Our requirements

  • Proven experience working with AWS services, particularly Amazon S3, IAM, and related security features.
  • Practical experience integrating S3 with Snowflake, including data ingestion and staged file handling.
  • Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformations, including modular development, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with data ingestion patterns, ETL/ELT concepts, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring and observability tools for data workflows.
  • Good communication skills and experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Relevant professional experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or a related discipline. Formal qualifications may include a degree or equivalent professional certification, but demonstrable experience will be equally considered.

Your responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain Amazon S3 infrastructure, including bucket policies, access controls, lifecycle rules, and replication strategies.
  • Manage and support secure data transfers into and out of S3, ensuring reliability and compliance with access requirements.
  • Implement and support data ingestion pipelines that bring data from S3 into Snowflake, including monitoring and troubleshooting data flows.
  • Develop and maintain transformation workflows using DBT, ensuring transformations are version-controlled, documented, and tested.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and data analytics teams to deliver scalable and efficient cloud data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Contribute to operational best practices, including logging, monitoring, backup and recovery, and security hardening for data platforms.
