Data Engineer (Insurance Data Platform)​ | f/m/d

Your responsibilities

• developing and maintaining ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources, including market data feeds, customer information systems, and transactional databases
• ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• collaborating with business owners, data analysts and scientists, software engineers, and DevOps specialists to support the development of predictive models and business intelligence tools
• optimizing data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
• working in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality applications on schedule

Our requirements

• fluency in English
• min. of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer
• proficiency with Python
• AWS Cloud, focusing on Glue Job, Glue Catalogs, Lake Formation, Athena, Step Functions, SageMaker
• experience with Data Mesh
• experience with Spark
• experience in collaborating with various stakeholders
• experience in working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum)
• very good interpersonal skills

Optional

• experience with AWS Data & AI services
• experience with Azure Cloud
• knowledge of AI/ML tools
