- At least 2 years of experience in data modelling with practical work on star schemas.
- Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries and transformations.
- Experience designing conceptual, logical and physical data models and producing clear documentation.
- Familiarity with data integration concepts and ETL/ELT patterns.
- Understanding of performance optimization, scalability and cost considerations in analytical environments.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms or modern analytical ecosystems is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models following client-defined methodologies and architectural standards (e.g., Kimball).
- Create star schema models and document data structures to support reporting, analytics and downstream data consumers.
- Propose, justify and document data-modeling and integration solutions that balance long-term platform strategy with current business needs.
- Define and document data transformation and integration logic to support ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Collaborate with business analysts, source-system subject-matter experts, data architects, engineers and product owners across project phases.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Consider performance optimization, scalability and cost efficiency when making design decisions.
- Support implementation of data-driven projects, ensuring models are production-ready and aligned with platform governance.
About the project
