  • Working knowledge of SQL (we use Postgres and Vertica);

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience working in the mobile gaming industry.

Your responsibilities

  • We work end-to-end the entire journey of an analytical problem - from the business need, through analysis, to conclusions and recommendations:
  • understand product and data-related needs, and effectively collect requirements, then plan the end-to-end process;
  • work closely with our data engineers to design, build, and maintain game data pipelines, aligning them with specific reporting and analytics requirements;
  • conduct complex exploratory and statistical analyses in Python and internal tools - including player segmentations and, occasionally, methods like clustering/modeling/ simulating when the problem calls for it;
  • build visualizations and develop "numerical intuition" in colleagues who don't work with data daily.
  • Set KPIs and implement A/B tests to optimize player income throughout the game lifecycle.
  • Organize your own work and support a junior - priorities, requirements, estimates, and leading 1–2 meetings per week;
  • Play an active role in shaping the future of the game title by proactively sharing insights with the game team, suggesting process improvements, and shaping analytics practices.
