Our requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a data science-related role,
  • Experienced in analyzing complex datasets and building mathematical models (theoretical or practical),
  • Good programming skills or experience in scripting languages (Python, R or Java),
  • Strong proficiency in SQL– mandatory requirement,
  • Willingness to travel for business (2–3 days per month),
  • Ability to produce creative analytical solutions based on clear and thorough analyses of complex processes and business relationships,
  • Comfortable explaining complex analytical and technical content to various audiences,
  • Strong team-player, energetic and success-oriented problem solver,
  • Independent work ethic, integrity and loyalty, positive “can-do”- attitude,
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure – nice to have,
  • English language – advanced.

Your responsibilities

  • Support the definition of project contents, deliverables and timelines of data analytics projects,
  • Derive analytical requirements, select and execute appropriate mathematical methods and interpret the results in consultation with the project lead,
  • Identify, validate and exploit internal and external data sets to support respective projects,
  • Apply mathematics, statistics, predictive modelling and machine learning techniques to develop and build predictive models for (real-time) decision making and to optimize processes,
  • Jointly deploy models into production with data/software engineer,
  • Support in on-boarding and coaching of junior data science colleagues as part of the project,
  • Liaise with other experts cross-functionally to share best practices.
