  • Ability to articulate business requirements and bring them to fruition
  • Experience in (re)designing processes and controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/MIS/Computer Science or equivalent work experience to substitute for education);
  • 5-10 years of financial /financial services industry is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of reference data including legal entity data is a plus.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Data Steward for Enterprise Reference Data /Master Data Management applications, managing the quality and use of data assets.
  • Maintain business metadata within the Data Catalog (Collibra) and own the MDM Data Dictionary.
  • Support Business Owners in implementing and documenting data quality controls, verify operational controls are in place and adequately documented. Drive resolution of data quality issues.
  • Manage relationships between data providers and data consumers, ensure C/P documents are accurate and timely.
  • Understand impacts to regulatory reporting, risk, operations, and other consuming processes.
  • Capture and maintain technical metadata to record data lineage and traceability. Validate and maintain data lineage (sources, transformations, outputs) and ensure lineage information is current within the Data Catalog.
  • Participate in data integration and transformation projects, ensure appropriate data sources are selected, and ensure data quality controls are implemented.
  • Act as first point of contact in terms of any escalations or queries from business partners.
  • Utilize industry and regulatory knowledge to support State Street’s regulatory reporting initiatives and or finding resolution
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of system enhancements that have a data impact.
  • Manage and provide oversight daily operation for State Street’s subsidiaries and branches and participating as a member of Legal Entity Oversight Committee monthly meeting composed of representatives of business units, control and corporate functions to adopt and monitor the implementation of the Charter and Standards for State Street’s subsidiaries and branches.
  • Support the operationalization of key release items from MDM Roadmap to meet commitments that support regulatory requirements and evolution of MDM adoption.
  • Drive ongoing MDM modernization efforts aimed at decommissioning ESP and expanding integration choices for data consumers and implement new data integrations into MDM.

About the project

Enterprise Reference Data / Master Data Management (MDM) is looking for a skilled and proven leader to manage our Data Governance compliance along with other data quality, testing and key metric reporting in our Poland team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of reference data, data governance and data management as well as State Street business model and strategy.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

Minimum Salary:​ zł182,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
