Our requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps/ Cloud/ Platform Engineering.
- Proficiency GCP, including native solutions like GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Workflows
- Production-level experience with Python, Terraform, and Docker.
- Practical experience utilizing advanced AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering workflows (preferred Claude Code).
- Excellent communication skills: we are looking for a proactive and open engineer who actively participates in technical discussions and doesn't hesitate to voice ideas or solutions.
Optional
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Knowledge of Golang
Your responsibilities
- Port cloud-native service implementations to their equivalents on Google Cloud Platform
- Build and maintain Terraform scripts
- Prepare and test CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Deploy and operate Python backend microservices
- Validate migrated services end-to-end against existing test data and document any behavioral differences between cloud providers
- Collaborate with the platform engineering lead in a daily standup and contribute to scoping follow-on migration work
