Our requirements

  • Have experience in Windows Server technologies
  • Have some experience with Azure Local OR Vmware
  • Have knowledge in managing physical server infrastructure
  • Are familiar with Kubernetes cloud deployments
  • Are experienced in PowerShell
  • Are experienced in Linux
  • Have used Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) automation including cloud deployments and on-premise (i.e. Terraform, Azure Resource Manager Templates, Ansible and similar)
  • Personally:
  • Are a self-driven person experienced in working in virtual teams.
  • Are a team player and consider knowledge sharing as a natural part of being professional.
  • Are fluent in Polish and English, both in speaking and writing.
  • Are skilled in problems solving.
  • Are ready to support planned activities outside business hours.

Optional

  • Have worked with Hyper-V virtualization
  • Have DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline knowledge of principles and experience in implementation (preferably Azure DevOps)
  • Have a knowledge of IP networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Have good understanding of Azure cloud core services
  • Are experienced in the DevOps/Agile/Scrum approach
  • Have worked with Windows Server Failover Cluster
  • Have knowledge in MS SQL database administration
  • Are familiar with Windows Containers
  • Have used monitoring and visualization tools (i.e. Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf)
  • Have used log aggregation and search engines (i.e. ELK Stack)
  • Know GitOps tools (i.e. ArgoCD, Flux)

Your responsibilities

  • Building, operating and maintaining complex hybrid cloud infrastructure for KMD products based on Azure Local and global Azure cloud.
  • Working on cutting edge technologies.
  • Acting as SME in the DevOps area and as a sparring partner for product teams.
  • Supporting cloudification across KMD products.
  • Suggesting new and improving existing services and accompanying processes and procedures.

About the project

Our Cloud Infrastructure and Operations team provides best cloud technologies, design, and architecture to support the move of KMD products to the cloud. As a Hybrid Cloud DevOps Engineer you will be part of a team whose primary focus will be to build, operate and maintain Azure Local solution (Azure hyperconverged infrastructure cluster) and underlaying datacenter infrastructure.
We see DevOps as a strong collaboration between Development and Operations with both being part of the same agile product team. Sharing backlog and having common goals are key elements to Dev and Ops working together to create awesome products. In our team we are responsible for getting the most out of Azure and the DevOps principles.
Location: Warsaw (Inflancka 4A) - Hybrid: 1 day per week in the office
