Good Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/ Terraform/ Ansbile/ Nutanix/ MS SQL/ Powershell

Knowledge in Monitoring / log Aggregation.

Role Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer at Viega, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, managing our cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and security of our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to automate workflows and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Design, provision, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

CI/CD Automation: Build, optimize, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, automated, and secure software releases.

Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Monitoring & Reliability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks or downtimes.

Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps), ensuring infrastructure and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Configuration and implementation of the CI/CD pipeline (GitHub actions) for cloud native environments.

Implementation and operation of the Azure infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
