Requirements

Expected technologies

AWS
PostgreSQL
Microsoft SQL Server
MongoDB

Optional technologies

Snowflake Data Cloud

Our requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience running production infrastructure on AWS
  • Strong database administration experience across relational and document engines: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB in production, not just local development
  • Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse platforms
  • Practical experience applying AI tools to DevOps work: LLM-assisted troubleshooting, AI code review, workflow automation with agents, or similar. We want someone who already works this way, not someone waiting for permission to start
  • Solid scripting and infrastructure-as-code skills; your changes should be reviewable and repeatable
  • Experience building monitoring and alerting from the ground up
  • Working knowledge of compliance-driven operations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar)
  • Fluent English, spoken and written. You will communicate daily with US-based colleagues and your documentation is part of your work product
  • Comfort working in a distributed team with regular overlap with US business hours

Your responsibilities

  • Operating and evolving a production AWS environment: EC2, load balancing, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC networking, and infrastructure automation
  • Administering and tuning databases across multiple engines in production: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL, including performance work, replication health, backup and recovery, and cost control
  • Supporting analytical data workloads, including Snowflake-based pipelines and reporting infrastructure
  • Building and maintaining the observability layer: monitoring, alerting, SLOs, synthetic checks, and availability reporting that supports customer-facing commitments
  • Owning CI/CD pipelines end to end, from build tooling and static checks to deployment automation and rollback procedures
  • Applying AI tooling to DevOps work in practice: AI-assisted incident analysis, infrastructure code generation and review, automated runbook execution, and agent-based workflows for routine operations
  • Supporting a SOC 2 compliance program on the infrastructure side: log retention, access control, asset inventory, and audit evidence collection
  • Planning and executing maintenance windows, OS image lifecycle management, and database upgrades with minimal customer impact
