Your responsibilities

  • Manages the health of all IT4IT projects and serves as the front door for all strategic initiatives supported by IT.
  • Leads the performance management of all vendors — both outsourced and insourced IT production — with clear success metrics and alignment with procurement; vendors are actively performance-managed up or managed out.
  • Sets and animates IT governance standards and processes across the organisation.
  • Leads auditability processes of IT, coordinates IT mandatory certification processes and quality standards.
  • Manages relations with Orange Group governance bodies, coordinating cooperation and ensuring alignment with Group-level requirements.
  • Manages and oversees the IT investment budget (OPEX and CAPEX), including ownership of the Financial Management process (ZFIN) and serving as CAPEX SPOC.
  • Operationalises and implements change management, including the management of optimisation programmes and efficiency initiatives.
  • Manages internal and external audits, benchmarks, and compliance reports for IT.
  • Prepares IT management information, cross-functional analyses, and sets objectives for efficiency initiatives across IT.
  • Oversees and evolves Demand and Delivery (D&D) processes and Change Management in IT projects.
  • Sets and monitors MBO objectives for division directors.
  • Defines, implements, and executes the medium and long-term IT supplier management strategy and manages IT contracts.
  • Defines and executes efficiency initiatives related to IT contracts and suppliers, including cost optimisation and performance improvement.
  • Manages and coordinates IT FTO GUILD activities for managing outsourcing resources.
  • Develops and optimises methodologies for software sizing and project complexity estimation.

Our requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership and management at director level in IT transformation, financial management, or supplier management.
  • Experience managing complex transformation programmes, budget governance (OPEX/CAPEX), and strategic supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of IT financial management, contract management, change management methodologies, and process optimisation.
  • Ability to think strategically, manage cross-functional initiatives, and communicate effectively at executive level.
  • Knowledge of best practices in demand management, vendor management, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare management information, strategic analyses, and efficiency metrics.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to optimise costs, drive efficiency improvements, and achieve financial goals.
  • English: Proficient

Optional

  • Experience with FTO/outsourcing management and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with IT architecture simplification and technical debt reduction programmes.
  • Experience managing Group-level governance relationships in a multinational telecommunications context.

The Director, IT Program & Performance Management leads the IT Program & Performance Management transversal function — the central governance, financial management, and vendor performance engine of the IT organisation at Orange Polska. This role manages the health of all IT4IT projects, acts as the front door for all strategic initiatives supported by IT, leads the performance management of all vendors (outsourced and insourced), owns IT financial governance (OPEX and CAPEX), and drives the medium and long-term IT supplier strategy.
