Our requirements

  • 🛠️ What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in embedded software / firmware development (preferably on STM32)
  • Hands-on experience building Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) on embedded displays — TFT and/or monochrome OLED
  • Comfortable working close to the hardware: reading schematics, bringing up boards, debugging with a scope and logic analyzer
  • Solid knowledge of: Embedded C/C++ and Microcontrollers or Embedded Linux systems
  • Experience with: Communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Linux environments (Raspberry Pi or similar)
  • Basic networking concepts
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership of tasks

Optional

  • ✨Nice to Have:
  • TouchGFX (this is what we use on the TFT interfaces) or another embedded GUI framework — LVGL, Qt for MCU
  • Familiarity with display drivers, framebuffers or graphics optimisation on constrained hardware
  • Experience with IoT systems, MQTT protocol, cloud platforms integration (like AWS)
  • Familiarity with sensor integration and signal processing
  • 🎯 What You’ll Work On:
  • New codebases, not legacy maintenance — you'll be writing the firmware that becomes the product, not patching someone else's code from ten years ago. Our current platform work started from a clean slate.
  • User interfaces that end users actually touch — the graphical UI on the TFT panel and the OLED interface, running on STM32 with TouchGFX.
  • Genuine R&D — we take on products that don't exist yet. Not every answer is known upfront, and that's the point.
  • Several clients, not one monolith — measurement and sensing devices, industrial electronics, safety products. You'll see different domains rather than one codebase for years.
  • Firmware that ships at volume — a new commercial equipment platform for a US manufacturer, with over 10,000 units a year going into daily professional use. Your code runs in the field, not in a demo.
  • Close to the metal — display drivers, IO boards, communication over USB, RS485/Modbus and CAN, working alongside our hardware team on board bring-up.

Your responsibilities

  • 💡 Your Responsibilities:
  • Build firmware from the ground up — device Business Logic and the Graphical Interface that runs on it, in C/C++ on STM32
  • Design and build embedded firmware for new products
  • Write clean, efficient, and reliable code in:
  • C / C++ (firmware, drivers, low-level systems)
  • Python (tooling, data processing, automation)
  • Integrate sensors and communication interfaces:
  • UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, GPIO
  • Support connectivity solutions BLE/Cellular
  • Collaborate on cloud integration and data pipelines
  • Participate in hardware bring-up, debugging, and testing
  • Contribute to system architecture and technology decisions
  • Explore and implement new technologies in embedded & IoT space

What we offer

  • 🌟 What We Offer
  • Work on a unique, multidisciplinary R&D and Industrial projects with real-world impact
  • Opportunity to develop both low-level firmware and system-level solutions
  • A collaborative team of hardware, software, and science experts
  • Space to experiment, prototype, and innovate
  • Flexible working hours and strong work-life balance
  • Office located near the sea 🌊
  • 💙 Why You’ll Love Working With Us
  • Your code will run on real devices deployed in US or in the Baltic Sea (depending on the project)
  • You’ll gain experience across firmware, hardware, and cloud layers
  • You’ll be part of a team building something meaningful and scalable
  • 🚀 Ready to Build Things That Ship?
  • Apply today and join a team where your firmware runs in thousands of real devices — across product families, not one codebase for years.

Benefits

  • sharing the costs of sports activities
  • sharing the costs of professional training & courses
  • flexible working time
  • integration events
  • no dress code
  • coffee / tea
  • christmas gifts

About Us

🚀 Join Our Team as an Embedded Firmware Engineer (GUI / TouchGFX)
📍 Location: Gdynia, Aleja Zwycięstwa 96/98
🌐 Work Mode: Stationary
📅 Flexible Work Schedule: 6-hour workdays or 4-day workweeks
🖥️ Build the Interfaces People Actually Touch
We design and build electronics end to end — from first schematic through firmware and bring-up to serial production. Our clients range from US manufacturers of professional equipment to industrial and environmental technology companies across Europe.
Right now we're building a new product platform where the user interface is the product: a graphical UI running on STM32 with TouchGFX, alongside a second interface on a monochrome OLED. Over 10,000 units a year will go into daily professional use — your code runs in the field, not in a demo.
This is new firmware, not legacy maintenance. We also take on genuine R&D — recently a wireless-power device developed ground-up, from first schematic to a unit ready for sale.
We're looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer with 2+ years of experience — someone who enjoys building real systems, debugging hardware-software interactions, and owning a feature from requirements to production.
