Expert Infrastructure Consultant

Our requirements

• Senior / Expert-level experience as an infrastructure consultant, solution architect or equivalent role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering build pipelines and CI/CD architectures.
• Strong experience with artifact management systems (for example: Nexus, Artifactory, or equivalent).
• Practical knowledge of secure software signing practices and signing workflows.
• Experience integrating signing and key management with HSM solutions and related protocols.
• Demonstrable background in designing secure and scalable DevOps environments and infrastructure patterns.
• Experience producing solution architecture documentation and technical designs for enterprise environments.
• Ability to estimate implementation costs and effort with clear rationale.
• Proven capability to deliver technical training and conduct effective knowledge transfer to engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse and assess the current infrastructure setup and development pipelines.
• Design a new build pipeline and artifact management solution aligned with security and scalability requirements.
• Design a secure software signing architecture and define signing workflows.
• Specify integration patterns between build/signing processes and Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive architectural recommendations, solution designs and technical proposals.
• Estimate implementation effort, timeline and costs, and identify required training and resource needs.
• Produce technical documentation, deployment guides and design artefacts suitable for handover.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and deliver technical training to internal engineering teams.
• Recommend operational best practices for maintaining a secure, resilient and scalable DevOps environment.
