Our requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience building and configuring services on a major cloud provider (GCP preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and SDN (e.g., VPC, XPN), plus strong understanding of network fundamentals (subnets, NAT, routing, firewalls).
  • Scripting and programming experience in one or more of the following: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala.
  • Practical experience in Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat).
  • Experience working in Agile environments with collaboration across global teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.

  • GCP Certification (Professional-level preferred).
  • Additional technical certifications (Linux, Windows Server).
  • Experience operating in regulated sectors (e.g., Financial Services).

Your responsibilities

  • Build and manage GCP foundation platforms to support application deployments.
  • Engineer solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Configure, deploy, and manage core cloud services such as IAM, networking, logging, containers, and OS.
  • Implement SDN configuration in GCP (VPC, XPN) and manage networking components (subnets, routing, NAT).
  • Support CI/CD and automated testing practices to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Apply security and compliance controls across infrastructure and services.
  • Deliver engineering solutions for patching, monitoring, and operational resilience.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production support as required.
  • Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and operational capabilities to meet evolving performance and compliance needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide impact assessments on proposed platform changes.

About the project

We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for building and managing highly resilient, scalable, and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure.
