Our requirements

  • 5+ years of backend experience, including 3+ years in Golang.
  • Deep knowledge of backend design, system performance, and distributed systems.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, especially performance tuning in SQL.
  • Solid understanding of microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerized apps.
  • A mindset geared toward quality, pragmatism, and building things right from the start.

Optional

  • Experience with Python/Java in service-heavy environments.
  • Familiarity with Pub/Sub, Kafka, or similar message brokers.
  • GCP, AWS, Terraform, monitoring tools like NewRelic / DataDog.
  • Experience with secure API integrations and cloud-native security best practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead backend development for a new aviation platform, with Go as the core language.
  • Design and implement clean, scalable microservices in Golang.
  • Shape system architecture and key infrastructure components — no legacy, full greenfield.
  • Optimize data flow and queries using PostgreSQL and Google Spanner.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability in a high-availability environment.
  • Work closely with DevOps and SREs to build a solid CI/CD and observability stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a modern Agile setup.
  • Troubleshoot real-world production issues — and prevent them before they happen.
