Our requirements

  • You are fluent in Polish and English, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
  • You have approximately 4 years of experience in a similar role supporting transactional systems.
  • You have strong hands-on knowledge of Linux, including confident use of the command line.
  • You have strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, and can write complex SELECT and UPDATE queries.
  • You have experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • You have a basic understanding of Kubernetes and modern infrastructure environments.
  • You are available to work from the client’s office in Kraków 8 days per month and can work within a schedule of 8:00–18:00, including an average of one working weekend per month (compensated with two additional days off).
  • Experience with Docker, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or within the financial services industry will be an advantage.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor, support, and maintain transactional systems to ensure their stability and performance.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related incidents and operational issues.
  • Work with Linux environments and use command-line tools to support day-to-day operations.
  • Analyze and manage data within relational databases, including creating and executing complex SQL queries.
  • Perform data validation, investigation, and updates when required.
  • Develop and use scripts in Bash or Python to automate and improve operational processes.
  • Support containerized and cloud-based environments, including Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.
