Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- Containerization and orchestration concepts.
- Observability and troubleshooting tools.
- ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Solid analytical skills and ability to interpret logs and monitoring dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills in English – ability to work with global teams.
- Flexibility to occasionally work late hours and take part in on-call support.
Optional
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, Service Meshes.
Your responsibilities
- Guarantee the availability, performance, and reliability of the internal Kubernetes platform.
- Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of Kubernetes environments.
- Perform capacity management and troubleshoot issues across production environments.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical problems and provide detailed root cause analysis.
- Automate operational processes, improve resilience and observability.
- Manage on-call schedules for a 5-member local team and coordinate with the Global SRE Lead.
- Participate in a monthly on-call roster (including occasional weekend support).

About the project
We are looking for an experienced Internal Kubernetes Platform SRE Lead for our client, a global financial institution, to join an international team responsible for maintaining and scaling an internal Kubernetes Platform (IKP) within a Private Cloud environment.
As an SRE Lead, you will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of critical containerization services, manage a local team, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to process automation and reliability improvements.
