iOS Developer

Our requirements

• Strong professional experience in native iOS development for production-grade apps
• Expert in Swift programming and solid understanding of iOS fundamentals: app lifecycle, concurrency, background execution
• Hands-on experience with UI frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI or UIKit), navigation architectures, and data persistence (e.g., Core Data)
• Skilled in integration patterns: REST APIs, error handling strategies, resilience, and offline-first considerations
• Proven track record of automated testing (XCTest, XCUITest, mocks/stubs for unit and UI testing)
• Strong Git proficiency and experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
• In-depth awareness of mobile security practices in regulated industries (e.g., secure storage, encryption principles)
• Familiarity with dependency injection, Swift Concurrency (async/await), and reactive programming (Combine / RxSwift)
• Experience with observability tooling (crash analytics, performance monitoring) and feature flagging
• Accessibility and inclusive design knowledge
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments is a strong advantage

Optional

• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing on mobile
• Knowledge of MDM, App Config, or enterprise-scale distribution models
• Contribution to open-source projects or active engagement in developer communities

Your responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end iOS features, including discovery, technical design, coding, testing, release readiness, and early-life support
• Develop and maintain native iOS components using Swift, applying modern design patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularisation)
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend/API teams to deliver user-centric and technically robust solutions
• Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and drive test automation for reliability and maintainability
• Implement secure-by-design principles for sensitive data storage, authentication workflows, and banking security controls
• Monitor and improve app performance and stability (crash reduction, load time optimization, responsiveness)
• Contribute to CI/CD improvement initiatives: build automation, dependency scanning, quality gates, and security compliance
• Actively mentor junior team members through pairing, reviews, and coaching while promoting knowledge sharing
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture decisions and operational runbooks
• Manage dependencies across time zones and teams, ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset, balancing delivery speed with quality and compliance requirements
