Experience & Qualifications
You bring hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration, including server, storage, and backup technologies. Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and/or Linux such as RHEL or Ubuntu is important, along with practical knowledge of virtualization platforms, enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, SAN/NAS concepts including LUNs, RAID and replication, and ITIL processes covering incident, change, and problem management. Knowledge and insight in networking is also important. Experience with PowerShell or other automation tools, Azure or AWS, hybrid infrastructure, disaster recovery planning, business continuity, or international multi-site environments will be considered an advantage.
Success in This Role
Success in this role means keeping critical infrastructure stable, secure, and well-documented while improving operational maturity over time. Within the first 6–12 months, you will have built strong knowledge of our environments, contributed to reliable backup and recovery processes, supported infrastructure changes through CAB, and helped identify opportunities to improve performance, resilience, and automation.

Your responsibilities

Take a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing digital infrastructure across an international organization. Join IT Operations and help maintain the server, storage, and backup environments that keep our business running.
Team Purpose
The IT Operations team supports Faerch’s business by delivering stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure services across multiple sites. We work closely with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to ensure high availability, strong data protection, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms.
Your Role
As a Digital Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our server, storage, and backup environments. You will help ensure high availability, performance, security, and data protection across our infrastructure landscape.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a skilled and proactive infrastructure professional with a structured approach to operations, strong troubleshooting skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and are comfortable working in an international, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • As a Digital Infrastructure Administrator, you will:
  • Install, configure, maintain, patch, and harden Windows and/or Linux server environments, both physical and virtual.
  • Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere and HPE VME.
  • Administer SAN/NAS storage solutions, including provisioning, expansion, performance monitoring, replication, and data migration activities.
  • Manage the enterprise backup infrastructure, including Veeam, backup schedules, retention policies, recovery procedures, and restore requests.
  • Conduct regular disaster recovery tests, document results, and ensure alignment with data protection policies and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance, and troubleshoot incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board processes and contribute to infrastructure projects such as site rollouts, migrations, and technology renewals.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives and provide rotational on-call support for critical incidents.
  • Meet the Team
You will join a professional IT Operations team supporting colleagues and business critical services across multiple locations. The team works closely with cybersecurity, networking, applications, and local site stakeholders, with a strong focus on collaboration, reliability, and continuous improvement.
    Meet Your Manager
You will report to the Infrastructure Manager, who values collaboration, ownership, structured execution, and a proactive approach to improving IT operations.
