- Experienced IT leader with Bachelor-level abilities; as well as at least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Business fluent in Polish and English languages
- An entrepreneurial approach and passion for technology with excellent communication skills

- With your strong analytical abilities you use data and facts for decision making, measuring success and minimizing risks
- With your hands-on mentality you take on problems and find efficient solutions
- Experience with Google tools and PM-Software is a nice-to-have
- You are open to travel up to 20% of your time
Your responsibilities
- You will build and lead a team of IT Technicians and Engineers. Acting as their leader to make each individual as well as the overall team better every day.
- Together with your team, you will be responsible for the flawless functioning of the (IT) technical systems and infrastructure within our 145.000m2 highly automated warehouse. You have the ability to plan and prioritize activities related to maintenance, IT services and projects. All in accordance with Zalando Standards.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with the international Warehouse IT team, site teams, partners, local (logistics and technical) service providers, and the wider business. You act as the local expert and implement a strong local IT service operation taking into account all your stakeholders interests.
- You will drive continuous innovation by getting involved as a business consultant on all local projects that are related to IT - which is nearly everything!
THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As the IT Manager of our warehouse, your focus is to support operations with convenient and highly reliable technical systems and a great IT infrastructure. You already have an IT team onsite consisting of 6 IT Specialists. Your key to success is to empower them to deliver great service quality. Additionally, you will act as the partner for all IT-related topics for local stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for the IT Support & Infrastructure in the fulfillment center. You and the team act as owners of the systems and infrastructure and provide continuous and excellent IT support. Another success factor for your role is your customer focus. You build on the performance your team delivered in the past and increase the visibility of your team to all relevant stakeholders.
