Twój zakres obowiązków
Network Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across single or multi-site environments.
- Configure and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls including firewall policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), SD-WAN, and threat management.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Ubiquiti UniFi access points, switches, and controllers (both cloud-managed and on-premise).
- Monitor network performance, capacity plan, and carry out proactive maintenance and firmware management.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Scripting & Automation
- Write and maintain scripts to automate repetitive network and system administration tasks.
- Develop lightweight internal tooling or dashboards using HTML and JavaScript to surface network data or status information.
- Maintain version-controlled script repositories with clear documentation.
Hardware
- Source, build, rack, and cable server and network hardware to a professional standard.
- Diagnose and repair faulty hardware components including switches, routers, access points, servers, and end-user devices.
- Maintain an accurate hardware inventory and asset register.
- Coordinate warranty repairs and hardware refresh cycles with suppliers.
Security & Compliance
-Apply and enforce network security best practices including segmentation, VLAN design, and access control lists.
- Support vulnerability management by patching network devices and reviewing firewall rule sets regularly.
- Contribute to IT security audits and assist with policy documentation as required.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Produce and maintain accurate network diagrams and configuration documentation.
- Work closely with the broader IT team, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Provide clear technical communication to non-technical users when required.
