Our requirements
■ Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer, Endpoint Security Engineer, or similar role.
■ Strong understanding of security concepts, protocols, and best practices.
■ Demonstrable experience with endpoint protection platforms (EPP) and extended detection and response (XDR) solutions.
■ Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and incident response processes.
■ Familiarity with vulnerability management processes and tools is a plus.
■ Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking, and cloud platforms.
■ Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
■ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
■ Ability to communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
■ Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, GIAC, CISSP) are a significant advantage.
■ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Your responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Security Engineer to join our growing global security team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization's digital assets by implementing robust security measures, responding to threats, and managing vulnerabilities across our infrastructure.
Your role:
■ Design, implement, deploy, manage, and optimize endpoint protection solutions (e.g., XDR, EDR, local privilege management) to safeguard desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and servers from malware and other threats.
■ Analyze and address misconfigurations and vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
■ React to and investigate Security Operations Center (SOC) notifications and alerts, performing initial triage, analysis, and containment of security incidents.
■ Track, prioritize, and facilitate the remediation of reported vulnerabilities identified through scans, penetration tests, threat intelligence or cyber security risk rating, working with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
■ Monitor security systems and networks for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
■ Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, etc. to identify potential security weaknesses.
■ Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
■ Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., network, systems, development) to ensure security solutions are integrated seamlessly into the overall infrastructure.
■ Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
■ Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical security incidents as needed.
