IT Security Expert (Network Security & SOC) M/F/D

Our requirements

• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration and security operations, including incident investigation and the implementation of security improvements.
• Practical experience managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
• Experience maintaining and patching Windows, Linux, and network infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, VPNs, and secure network administration practices.
• Experience with network segmentation, remote access security, MFA integration, and security event analysis using SIEM platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, risk assessment, change management, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and proactively drive security improvements.
• Professional English proficiency (B2-C1) and relevant education or equivalent practical experience.

Optional

• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including CIS Controls, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid network security, microsegmentation, Zero Trust (ZTNA), SSE/SASE, or SD-WAN environments.
• Experience with detection engineering, threat hunting, network detection and response (NDR), or security automation.
• Knowledge of relevant networking or cybersecurity certifications.

Your responsibilities

• Investigate network security incidents, suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential data exfiltration.
• Improve the security of VPN, remote access, MFA, and Zero Trust access solutions.
• Enhance network access controls (NAC), authentication mechanisms, certificate management, and secure access for wired and wireless networks.
• Define and maintain network segmentation, firewall policies, and access controls to limit unauthorized access and lateral movement.
• Assess and strengthen the security of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, SDN environments, and management interfaces.
• Improve DNS security, monitor DNS-related threats, and enforce security policies across network services.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, incident reports, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to remediate vulnerabilities, implement security improvements, and support security operations.
