IT Service Owner

Our requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, Infrastructure Support, Software Support, or Project Management.
• Thorough understanding of ITIL Framework, particularly in Service Level Management, Service Continuity, Information Security Management, and Change Management.
• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to manage complex processes, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong experience with IT Controls including access, change, patching/vulnerability, logging, and DR management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated capability in process improvement and value creation initiatives.
• Collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, capable of working independently when needed.
• Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

Optional

• Communicative German or French language skills.
• Certifications such as ITIL v4, PRINCE2, PMP, or relevant IT specializations (e.g. Network, Cloud).

Your responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end control of the assigned application, service, and infrastructure.
• Ensure the successful operation and continuous improvement of IT services.
• Adhere to governance processes and FIM requirements, ensuring compliance with IT controls and procedures.
• Proactively plan service requirements such as evergreening, capacity upgrades, vulnerability management, and demand growth.
• Manage the delivery and maintenance of IT control tasks, coordinating resources and escalating when necessary.
• Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for stakeholder service requests and technical issues.
• Maintain audit and risk readiness by ensuring timely evidence delivery, closure of findings, and ongoing control enhancements.
• Collaborate with multiple teams including Service Owners, Risk & Control Officers, SSP Leads, and Cybersecurity functions.
• Review and update inventory and configuration records to maintain accurate service visibility.
• Stay informed about evolving IT governance and control requirements, acting as a point of knowledge for the broader team.
• Own service resilience and stability outcomes, including backups, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and major incident coordination.
• Ensure effective change and release governance, validating operational readiness for go-lives and minimizing failed changes.
