About the project

Our Team in Samsung R&D Poland deploys and maintains IMS services on Samsung Android smartphones for mobile operators throughout the world. We are looking for Software Developers and Telecommunication Engineers, both junior and senior.

Your responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of Android system-level service
  • Support of IMS services (VoLTE, VoNR, ViLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, SMSoIP and RCS)
  • Analysis and implementation of latest GSMA/3GPP requirements
  • Issue analysis and resolution as main activity
  • Network protocols analysis
  • Preparation and review of technical documentation
  • Innovation research
  • Development of internal automation tools

Our requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Java and/or C++
  • Spoken and written English at conversational level (B2)
  • Team-oriented approach

    Optional

  • Experience with IMS and/or VoIP technology
  • Experience using version control systems (Perforce, GitHub, Gerrit etc.)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SIP, SDP, IKE/IPSec, MSRP, HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP
  • Understanding of mobile network technologies such as 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE and 5G
  • Hands-on experience with Wireshark, Swarm, Confluence
